Kane is a rags to riches self made billionaire. He wakes up after a night of partying hard to find he's been drugged and his half-night lover is dead beside him. Refusing to go back to jail (yes, there is a backstory), he flees to his Uncle's remote cabin until he can prove which enemy set him up. As would be expected, he is all over the news.He stops at a diner at the last city before the cabin for food and coffee. Anna is running the diner alone with no other customers at the late hour. She recognizes Kane from the news, in spite of his growing beard and baseball cap, because of his distinctive tattoo. He is forced to kidnap Anna to keep her from going to the authorities. Now he has broken the law, and he still hasn't cleared his name.
They have a strong attraction that they both fight, for the obvious reasons. The story splits to chapters from each of their viewpoints. It is darker than normal for either Jan or Cali, but a well written fast read (26% of the listed pages) with the additional pages being books of each individual author.

Repetitive. Unimaginative. Characters had same conversation over and over again. Redundant. Boring. Found myself skimming and flipping trying to get through it.
A Dark Horse Novel is dark . This is not for those whom have fantasies of meeting your happily ever after without gut wrenching heart ache.
This was truly a good culmination of several stories and one you shouldn't miss if u love hot alpha demanding men.
Kane was on the run for a murder he didn't commit. Coming to a small town in Colorado he made a stop at a small dinner and ran into Anna. She recognizes him and it all seems to go downhill from there. They start to get to know each other and sparks fly. Love the twists and turns. Two amazing authors did an amazing job and can't wait for next book!
When I started this book is did not expect what I got. It was more then good, it was fantastic. A must read. 2 stories one book. I bought this because I love author Js Scott book and have not misses ready of her books. She is that great at writing. I will say Cali is one I haven't read till this and will look forward to reading more by this author. Thank u ladies for a awesome book
How fitting the title of this book is because I felt bound to it! I didn't want to put it down!!! The tension and chemistry between Anna and Kane was explosive! I'm looking forward to Gavin's book and to hopefully see more of how Anna and Kane's lives turn out!
Phoenix never really said what line of business he was in and the wrap up of the book was very abrupt, but when you have 20 plus chapters of having hot sex from different POV you don't have time to really write a story. Maybe we will get more answers and story with Gavin's story in Hacked.
The second book included with this purchase was much the same. Took too long for the story of Ash and Wren to unfold. Wasn't a satsifying read.
Then another story from J S Scott was included Simon's story for the Billionaire saga, this is the third or forth time that I have received this book and that includes the time that I actually bought it.

The chemistry between them was explosive! I can’t wait for the next book in the series.
